Hold Republicans accountable starting with Congressman Valadao in California 22

On February 25, all but one House Republican voted to cut up to $800 billion from Medicaid. It’s a tremendous betrayal of their constituents and often a direct betrayal of promises they made on the campaign trail.

We’re going to hold them to account, and we’re starting with Republican Congressman David Valadao in California’s 22nd Congressional District, who represents one of the most Democratic districts held by a Republican. His district also has the highest percentage of Medicaid recipients in the country – a whopping 68%! Write to voters most likely to be impacted and ask them to call their member of Congress and tell him to protect MediCal (Medicaid in California.) Mail postcards as you complete them and by May 1 at the latest.

Write to Voters in New York’s 21st District - raising awareness for the Democratic Candidate in the upcoming special election!

The date is not yet set for this special election but Democrats are getting ready to flip the seat! The Congresswoman from NYs 21st District has been nominated to be Trump’s representative to the United Nations. Once she is confirmed, there will be a special election to choose a replacement. It’s not going to be easy, but with the growing discontent around the Republican agenda of hurting working families, we think it’s possible to flip this seat! Thank you for racing through our list focused on Medicaid cuts; now we want to point out the cuts in healthcare for veterans and cuts in taxes for billionaires as Republican budget priorities, and let voters know that Democratic candidate Blake Gendebien will be on their side. Mail postcards as you complete them and by May 15 at the latest.
