OUR RACES:
Arizona is a purple state with a deep bench of MAGA extremists who have fully engulfed the Republican Party.
Until recently, Democrats were stuck with the feckless obstruction of Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
Now that she has been jettisoned from the U.S. Senate and not seeking re-election, we have an opportunity to replace her with a true blue Democrat, Rep. Ruben Gallego. Two House seats are also especially competitive—both held by Republicans.

If we can elect a Democrat to this seat, we may secure the 50th vote we need to reform the filibuster and change the trajectory of America. From gun safety to democracy protection to raising the minimum wage, helping Ruben Gallego win this election could be the gamechanger the American people deserve.
➟ OUR OPPONENT: Defeat Kari Lake
Kari Lake may be the looniest candidate Activate America is working to defeat in 2024, and that’s quite an achievement. A QAnon-aligned conspiracy nut, her election theft claims are so ludicrous that even Donald Trump has mocked her for them. After Roe was overturned, Lake made it clear that she wanted Arizona to enforce its abortion restriction enacted in 1864, a time when women couldn’t even vote.
She is profoundly unfit to serve in the U.S. Senate, and luckily, Arizona voters have an extraordinary alternative in Rep. Ruben Gallego.
Support Dr. Amish Shah⋆ AZ-01
Dr. Amish Shah is a board certified Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine doctor who practices throughout the state of Arizona. His research has been critical in helping the NFL develop better catastrophic injury protocols, with best practices that are now helping youth in sports across the country. As a Member of the Arizona House of Representatives, Dr. Shah held a 100% pro-choice record, and led the state’s efforts to protect the abortion pill and to increase access to contraception. He’s a principled and dedicated public servant, and he will be an excellent Member of Congress.

All you need to know about Rep. David Schweikert is he voted to overturn the presidential election AFTER the deadly insurrection on the U.S. Capitol. He betrayed his oath of office. Now that Trump is facing consequences for his betrayal, the least we can do is defeat Schweikert in 2024.

A mom, educator, and state legislator, Kirsten Engel’s focus is supporting working and middle class families. She is committed to protecting Arizona’s Colorado River water supply while encouraging better water management and conservation across the West, and transitioning to lower-cost clean energy. After a storied legal career, including time at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Engel became the Co-Director of the Environmental Law Program at the University of Arizona, creating the next generation of legal professionals who will help Arizona navigate climate-induced extreme weather challenges. In the state legislature, she fought to fully fund education and workforce development programs.
Engel brings the right experience and values to Congress, and we’re honored to support her.
➟ OUR OPPONENT: Defeat Rep. Juan Ciscomani
First term Congressman Juan Ciscomani narrowly squeaked through a close election in 2022, but with a better turnout by Democrats in 2024, we have the power to send him packing. He’s an anti-abortion extremist who Speaker Kevin McCarthy has tapped for Republican Caucus leadership. Defeating him in 2024 will be a major blow to the MAGA agenda.
