Amplify: Another Strong Month of Job Creation Under President Biden

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released its monthly jobs report, and it marks another great month of job growth in the Biden years.

Highlights:

• 353,000 new jobs were created

• Unemployment remains very low at 3.7

• 1.3 jobs available for every unemployed person

• Hourly earnings up 0.6% in January

Why It Matters:

Despite politically motivated attacks on his record of economic performance,  the reality is that President Biden has presided over one of the most robust job creation tenures in American history, and once widely held fears of a recession have not materialized.
