Amplify: Biden Administration’s Cybersecurity Leadership
One of the biggest threats to our country’s safety is hostile activity in cyberspace — from spying to the planting of malware to infect and disrupt a country’s infrastructure, including water, power, and nuclear facilities. The Biden Administration is taking strong steps to protect our nation’s infrastructure from cyber attacks.
Last March, the Biden-Harris administration released the National Cybersecurity Strategy, the first national cybersecurity plan since 2018. The Strategy details the Administration’s comprehensive and collaborative approach to securing cyberspace as we move towards an increasingly digital future.
The Strategy includes strengthening international cyber diplomacy efforts, securing emerging critical technologies and taking more aggressive steps to disrupt hacking groups. Notably, the plan focuses on shifting the responsibility for cybersecurity away from the individual and towards organizations that are best-positioned to reduce risks for all of us.
